I am a spiritual director, spiritual writer, and retreat leader living in the Greater Chicago Area. My first book, Saint Hildegard: Ancient Insights for Modern Seekers, was launched in September 2021.

I have a special fondness for the women Doctors of the Church, of whom St. Hildegard is the fourth so named. She is not yet as well-known as St. Teresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena, or St. Therese, the Little Flower. I hope to help St. Hildegard become a more familiar saint to people today through my writing and by leading retreats or programs focused on her and on all the women Doctors. I often quote her in my tweets so be sure to check those out.
